2009 Harvest and Grand Opening

By October 17, 2009Past Events

Rockin’ R Winery, Paso Robles’ newest winery and tasting room, celebrated its Grand Opening in October 2009. Our Grand Opening celebration, including special 30% wine discounts for new Rock-Rs, will continue through July 2010. The first crush at the family-run boutique facility was both challenging and fun as the crew got used to its new surroundings.

The first tasting room customers arrived while the fall wine crush was still underway, requiring the proprietors to juggle the business of both new grapes and finished wines.

The official Grand Opening party was held October 17 and 18 from 11:00 am to 6:oo pm during the Paso Robles Harvest Festival. With pre-party decor in place…

…the fun-loving crew got psyched-up to serve a crowd of any size… whether 2 or 2,000!

The celebration continued on Sunday, October 18, with the first annual “ROCKIN’ STOMP for the ARTS” fundraiser where adults and kids alike were able to donate a few bucks to the local arts and experience “pisage” firsthand (uh, foot) while more Tuscan food and wines were served under the big tent!

In addition to tasting and offering its wines, Rockin’ R Winery’s tasting room features the works of local artists, musicians and craftspersons, providing an intimate space for viewing, hearing and purchasing local arts.

We got off to a great start! We were delighted to have more than 100 ROCK-Rs join R-Fan Club within our first 90 days of our tasting room being open to the public. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
